Dusty Baker Still Doesn't Understand Me At All

Dusty Baker still doesn't understand the concept behind playing the hot player. If a player on the Reds wants a day off, the only thing he needs to do is get two or three hits in a game and it will be a done deal.

When Paul Janish gets hot he sits him and plays Edgar Renteria. Dave Sappelt got hot and Dusty sat him for Yonder Alonso. Alonso went 2-4 and Sappelt gets put back in.

He needs to understand that the season is over, the fat lady sang and danced a jig. Loosen up, play more rookies and get them some time in the the majors. Above all he needs to give Alonso a shot at third base and realize that he can't screw things up anymore there than he can out in the field.
